Modeling Hybrid Electric Vehicles for Control Optimization and HIL Test

In this seminar, we demonstrate how to speed up the development of physical system models for control design, optimization, and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) test using Simscape.
MathWorks® engineers will show how to build a hybrid electric vehicle model including traction motor, generator, battery pack, cooling system and controls. They will also show optimization of the controls in simulation using PC-based, as well as cloud-based parallel computing systems.
dSPACE engineers will demonstrate how to prepare the model for real-time simulation and HIL testing.
The event will also feature a technology showcase to learn how Simscape is applied to modeling, simulation, and optimization of engine, transmission, battery, motor and many other vehicle systems.
